| How did you get into the movie 3 idiots? |
|
“I did some auditions, I was here in bombay & was just vacationing, so one of my friend who work with Abhijat Joshi, the write of the film,
she said that I should audition for the role, my hindi is not so good, so I tried out little bit of audioning from munna bhai, the second one,
they really liked that, so after few more audions they really wanted me.”

| How was your experiance working with Aamir Khan? |
|
“It was really good, He is really a great guy, I had lots of fun, he is very down to earth person, I learned alot from him. ”

| As you have been working as an actor in Los Angeles & its your first bollywood movie so whats the difference between working there & in bollywood? |
|
“Hollywood is more mechanical, its more like a factory, here its depand on your popularity, everyone is speaking of their salaries hourly,
but here everything is personal, you have to meet people, you have to get to know them only then you get to work with them and be in their movies, while working
with them you develop relationship with them and you become very friendly with them, atleast about 3 idiots, I dont know about most of bollywood, I have only worked in one production
so far, its much more personal sorf of a business, its more face to face so I really enjoyed that because you really get to meet lots of people.”

| What were your expectations at the time of shooting the Speech scene? |
|
“I was just hoping that everyone enjoy it, I really had to think that balatkaar main chamatkaar because otherwise I would have laugh just like everyone else so I took it very seriously
even I was having a good time, I dont remember breaking and laughing or anything, I just remember being very excited, as Chatur the character Chatur Silencer, very excited to say such speech
and phrase my teacher, so I had to continue thinking to get that type of performance.”

Was it difficult for you to speak hindi? |
|
“It was very difficult for me, I speak marathi at home, the language of Maharashtra, I know hindi & I can understand it but it was very bad at starting but now its getting better but still there is lot to learn,
I really want to learn the language because not to open career door but I really get to understand, when you learn a language, you understand the culture much better, so I can understand most of Noth India, even I think in
Pakistan some people speak hindi & urdu is very similar to hindi so I will be able to understand alot more than I do now.”

Which is your fav scene in the movie? |
|
“The favourite scene of all I think is the drunken scene, when the all get sorf of drunk (the 3 idiots) and go do their fun stuffs but my favourite scene was my last scene in the end of the movie when Chatur is so happy and excited to
show how great he is to Rancho (Amir's Character) but then he realised who Rancho is, Phunsukh Wangdu so there is complete I guess 360 or 180 of turn a power, one person thinks he have power and other person has it and audiance's expectations
are completely surprised that moment so I really enjoyed that moment.”

Do you watch bollywood movies? if yes then which is your favourite movie? |
|
“I usuallty dont watch that many bollywood movies but I have seen many of them & I think mughal e azam is my favourite movie of all time, its a tragic film which not like most bollywood films, its a film that will always have meaning & always be relevant, the other movies after 10 or 20 years they become less relevant.”

You want to remain as a comedian in your future work or you want to do something different? if different, what kind of role you want to do? |
|
“Right now people like what I do in comedy, I am sure they are expecting more comedy, I also have much more comedy to give so whatever opportunity come to me, I would definitely look at them very seriously, I am really excited about this character also.”

How does it feel to be recognised? |
|
“It feels so real because I know who Omi is and I know Omi is very different than Chatur but everyone see Chatur, every see that character, they get excited and in the end I still remember who I am, 25 days ago nobody would recognize me so its a very different feeling, out of body almost.”

“Thank you all for usuing your hard earn Istun (Money) to watch the movie and I am really glad that this indian movie is having global message and people in Pakistan can relate to it,
I dont think that there are that many differences and sentiments are the same thats why this movie has made the message clear and Pakistani people really enjoyed in Pakistan and I am really glad & happy that I have fans not only in Pakistan but all over the world, Thank you all very much.”
