The gossipy social media went nuts when a shocking video of Akshay Kumar‘s bodyguard punching a fan went viral.
One of the enthusiastic fans of Akki, got a bit too close to the superstar in hopes of a selfie ended up getting punched in the head by his bodyguard at the Mumbai airport.
Thanks to his bodyguard’s disrespectful behavior Akshay made headlines, for all the wrong reasons. This is not the first time his bodyguard has behaved violently. In March 2014, a dentist was slapped because he dared to get too close to the actor during the shoot of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobaara.
However, within hours of the incident Akshay took over to social media sites to respond to the incident and issue an apology. He tweeted a long message clarifying his position that he didn’t exactly know what had happened at the airport and when he was informed he immediately reprimanded the bodyguard and warned him to refrain from misbehaving with his fans.
Akshay also said that he’s extremely apologetic towards his fans and he respects and cares for his fans and admirers. He ensured that such incidents won’t occur again in the future.
