Billo is here to shake things up!

Billo - Strepsils Stereo

Celebrations are on its peak as wedding season welcomes us with festivities, fun and drama. Speaking of which, Billo is here! Yes, the much awaited and talked about Acapella song from Strepsils Stereo is here and we love it and there’s no reason not to, as it offers everything and more.

Check out Billo here, giving us some dance goals!

From the harmony amongst the band and those absolutely difficult Punjabi folk beats with a mix of Pop was all man made sounds, incredible! This is super impressive and we enjoyed the song thoroughly, not to forget the beautiful outfits (girls right now must have gotten off track and went to play the video) are something to check out.

We’ve got you covered!

In conversation with the Co-Producer Ali Noor he said, “This was one of the most challenging songs that have been produced to date on the Strepsils Stereo platform because of the complexity of beats as there are in a Punjabi folk mix. But, Ahsan Pervez and Mehak Ali have done a phenomenal job through their voice. This will surely be topping all mehndi playlists this wedding season.”

He sure was having fun on set.

This song was sung by the talented vocalists; Ahsan Pervez and Mehak Ali and it just gave life to the festive vibe that we saw in the video.

Look at them effortlessly singing here!

The visuals itself are super vibrant and happening with colorful outfits and the extravagant decor, encapsulating the spirit of our desi wedding season.

What we particularly loved is when the bride gets up on the dance floor and asks, “Kya main apni  shaadi par dance nai karsakti? (Can’t I dance on my own wedding?),” questioning the norm of the demure bride we’re so used to seeing!

This character is a fun take on our socially constructed rules about how girls are expected to act at weddings, and in addition promotes empowerment and highlights that everyone in the family, including the bride herself, should enjoy the wedding festivities!

Times are certainly changing, and this sends out that message in the right way.

This song is a definite addition to all wedding playlists, we look forward to dancing a lot on Billo this season!
