Actor Vivek Oberoi has got into serious trouble as he has been caught by the Mumbai police for smoking Hookah in Public premises.
Reportedly the incident took place recently in one of the posh restaurants in Mumbai Suburbs, When Vivek along with 23 other customers was enjoying flavoured hookah.
The police did surprise check in the restuarant and was shocked to see Vivek involved in the mob of customers.
It has been said that Vivek beg the police official that he did not smoke and requested to allow him to let go but the police paid no heed. Instead he was charged for smoking in the public area on the tobacco act.
Ironically Vivek is brand ambassador for World Health Organization’s anti smoking movement.
Well the police is investigating the whole matter and will soon reveal about the actor’s involvement in the crime.
It will be interesting to know the result of these allegations put on the promoter of an anti-smoking campaign.
