Aamir Liaquat Hussain‘s ex-wife, Dr. Bushra Iqbal has, for the first time, revealed the reason behind her court battle against the post-mortem of her ex-husband.
It should be noted that Dania Shah had called for the post-mortem of her ex-husband to be conducted to determine the reasons for his sudden demise.
However, Bushra Iqbal along with her children weren’t in favor of the post-mortem. The reason behind their decision was unknown until recently.
In a podcast with Hafiz Ahmed, Bushra revealed that Aamir Liaquat Hussain, in his will, had stated that his post-mortem should not be conducted.
She also spoke about his life being under threat due to his politics as well as his controversial views.
Bushra added, “Every time any threat emerged, he instructed that no one should perform a post-mortem on him and that he should be buried as he was.”
Furthermore, she clarified that they didn’t see an reasons for a post-mortem as they were satisfied with the investigation report.
