During a recent podcast, veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari made some interesting revelations. According to Sabzwari, he was offered to play the role of President Asif Ali Zardari in a Bollywood film.
However, he rejected the offer. The actor stated that he was offered multiple Bollywood films long time ago and one of them was before that unfortunate blast.
“I was offered to play President Asif Ali Zardari‘s role in a Bollywood film,” he claimed. Behroze Sabzwari added that he turned down the offer as Zardari isn’t just the country’s president but also a good friend.
Furthermore, He stated that despite being assured that it wasn’t a controversial role, he refused to play the part. When asked whether Indian films should be allowed to be screened in Pakistan, he said, “Absolutely.”
He also responded to the concern that nobody would watch Pakistani films if Indian films are screened in the country. He stated that people would go to watch if good films are made.
The veteran actor also gave an example of the latest films, which were being loved by the Pakistani viewers.
