Have you, too, been craving for a solo, non-filmy single by Atif Aslam? If yes, the wait is over. After a teaser earlier this month, on the singer’s official Instagram account, the song is finally out. It is called “12 Bajay” and released on December 12th i.e. 12-12.
The song is 7 minutes and 23 seconds long and has already touched 70 thousand views and a ten thousand likes. The video is directed by Zeeshan Parwez. It is a mix of graphics and visuals of the singer, which doesn’t let one move the sight. It is Atif’s first single after “Humein Pyaar Hai Pakistan Se“, back in 2015. When asked, he elaborated his connection with the song in the following words:
“Main kaafi arsay se is cheez ko soch raha tha ke haan, I should make the kind of music that I want to play. Jab maine isko record kiya tha tou mujhe apne Aadat wale din yaad agaye thay.”
Well we think he has totally lived up to his words, since the huge fans feel literally the same, if we go through the comments on YouTube.
The lyrics of the song set the not-so-big fans a little back, but his voice totally compensates for it. And sometimes, even if you don’t like the song, you get addicted to it, and eventually start to like it.
