Makafaat on Ehsaas Ramzan – A sad reality of our actions

Geo Entertainment has brought for its audience a live transmission titled Ehsaas Ramzan with the aim to encourage the values of Ehsaas – respect, empathy, sensitivity and generosity in others. Makafaat is a small segment of this transmission that comprises of short telefilms based on the same theme of feeling for others.

Makafaat - Ehsaas Ramzan

The beautiful OST of Makafaat has been sung by Sahir Ali Bagga, which is truly a heart-touching piece of art. There is a sweetness, a kind of a magic in Sahir’s voice that soothes the hearts of millions when they get to hear this soundtrack. People love his work and believe in his projects blindly. This is the trust this musician has built in the eyes of his viewers and we are not naive of it.

Lyrics and composition of the OST have been done by Sahir Ali Bagga as well. This special Ramzan series has been directed by Saleem Ghanchi. The project has been produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, while the program is basically a segment of Ehsaas Ramazan, targeting to depict situations where our actions bring us the consequences we deserve.

The program consists of a series of episodes, each carrying a different lesson and focusing on one main goal, that is to show different perspectives of how people and their actions, knowingly or unknowingly, cause reactions that are the consequences of their own doing. The episodes will touch your heart and mind alike.

Makafaat - Geo Entertainment

Makafaat telefilms try to educate the audience on different lessons, like caring for aging parents, false blaming, children being disobedient to their parents, people looting rights of kin and kindred and much more. Makafaat is truly a sad reality of our actions.

For such a strong project, the OST had to be relatable and moving, which Sahir Ali Bagga did complete justice to.

‘Maula, meri tauba!

Bigri ko meri zra suljha dy’

Not just the lyrics, but we also appreciate the composition of the soundtrack as well. It begins with a slow rhythm, but then gives a stout initiative to the next phase of the OST which actually gives goosebumps.

We would not deny the fact that this Ramzan, Geo Entertainment has wonderfully carried off their Ramzan transmission with much needed reality checks to the masses!
