Fawad Khan breaks silence over daughter’s anti-polio issue

The anti-polio drive in schools has been the news lately. The exercise has finally started in the schools of Karachi. One thing that got more attention than this noble cause, is an alleged FIR against Pakistani superstar, Fawad Khan. This has totally got The Legend of Maula Jatt actor in to hot water all over the social media.

Fawad Khan breaks silence over anti-polio issue of his daughter

Well, to be clear, the FIR was not just filed against the actor, but also five other family members including his wife Sadaf Fawad. The FIR states that Sadaf did not allow the Polio campaign volunteer to give polio drops to her daughter Elayna and threatened the team. The Polio PM taskforce Babar Bin Atta revealed in a series of tweets that the mother thought getting the child immunized in the UK. He further tweeted that the DC Lahore is just as respectable as Fawad Khan and he hopes the matter to resolve soon.

While all of this made a chaos in Fawad Khan’s life, his public relations team came up with a response to all of this, saying that Fawad has been out of country ever since the PSL 2019 opening ceremony. They added that the actor is currently in the United States and fully supports the anti-polio drive. In fact, he is well aware of the WHO and CDC guidelines and abides by all of them. They assured that the required vaccinations for Fawad’s daughter are up to date and relevant record is available. In the end, the PR team said that if the FIR is not cancelled, Fawad will redress it, including remedies against any damage.

Well seems like this case is getting serious, and that too right before the release of his long awaited The Legend of Maula Jatt. Seeing the response from Fawad Khan’s team, it is quite obvious that the case is in his favour, but let’s wait until a final verdict appears.
