Mahira Khan fans in Pakistan are excited for her Bollywood debut film Raees opposite the king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan since the announcement of the film but this excitement is likely to be a sadness.
We all know the current political situation between Pakistan and India because of which Pakistani actors are ban to work in Bollywood, on the other end all of their movies are restricted to be released in cinemas of Pakistan which will cause huge losses to the producers in India.
Now we heard that Mahira Khan is removed from Raees and the makers are hunting for the alternate girl to reshoot Mahira’s scenes.
As per the sources “It was a very painful decision for producer Ritesh Sidhwani to take. The pressure to replace her had been building up for months. It reached a crescendo after the Uri attacks. It came to a point where it became impossible to shoot with any Pakistani. People suggested all kinds of solutions to the impasse, including shooting in Dubai. But it didn’t seem viable. Now Mahira has unfortunately been relieved of her duties.”
As there’s no official statement from the makers of the film yet, it might be a drama to calm the MNS and other hyper authorities in India, Now we have to wait till 2nd November for the release of the official trailer of the film to see if Mahira is there or not.
Karan Johar must be more in pressure as his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is releasing by the end of this month and only a few days are left. if the release will go smooth without any political issues then obviously Mahira will remain in Raees
