The queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone seems to be in mood for some new experiment. Yes, she is ready to take a new role for Zoya Akhtar’s next film. She is very much impressed by the script of the film “Dil Dhadakne Do” and is ready to be the part of the project at any cost even in a non acting role probably an assistant director.
She expressed her willingness by saying, “I love the script so much that I am ready to work in any capacity on the film, including an assistant director (AD),” she says, with a smile. “But I don’t know if I can manage that (working as an AD).”
Zoya Akhtar is a well known Bollywood film director. Previously, she has also won the Film Fare Award for Best Director for her film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara“. When Deepika was asked if she has talked to Zoya about her willingness to do the project, she said: “Not really…I’ve met her, but not talked about it (getting associated with the film).”
The story of the film revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family, who later on goes on luxury cruise. The film will star Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles.
