FIR lodged against director & actors of Aamir Khan’s P.K

Any film that is related to Aamir Khan always gets some lime light as we all know very well that Aamir Khan doesn’t do much films in a year and the films he do are always outstanding. Similar is the case for his upcoming movie P.K in which Aamir will be seen with Anushka Sharma. But this movie came across something that was not expected. An FIR has been lodged against the director, Raj Kumar Hirani and actors of this movie for hurting some religious sentiments which were experienced during the shooting in Chandni Chowk area, Delhi.

The reason for lodging this FIR was that when the shooting was taking place, locals observed that there was a man who was dressed as Lord Shiva who pulled a rickshaw along with two burqa-clad women who were sitting in the rickshaw as passengers.

At first, the locals thought that there were some actors who were a part of some Ram Leela Party but upon enquiring, they came to know that this was for shooting of a film that made the locals angry and the interrupted there. According to the shooting team, they had legal documents for shooting such a scene but the mob who reacted towards this was forcing to lodge an FIR against this. Therefore, under section 295 A (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religious of any class) and 153 A of Indian Penal Code (IPC) (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) an FIR was lodged against the actors and director.
