We have had enough of these 5 din mein gora banein fairness cream advertisements, especially in Pakistan. Almost everyone is obsessed with Gora rang and these fairness creams ads sponsors celebrities to make people feel bad about themselves.
We are glad that there is still hope left. Our favorite actress Iqra Aziz has taken a brave stand and refused to do a whitening cream advertisement. Her fiancé Yasir Hussain couldn’t be more proud of her. He posted about this on his Instagram how Iqra was offered a decent amount of money for this ad and yet she still refused and he respects her for this.
“Allah ne jaisa banaya hai us mein khush rahein” says Yasir. Though white associates with purity and peace but not when you compare it with someone’s beauty. We should always be proud of how we all look. These crazy whitening cream advertisements just makes things messed up.
Saba Qamar and Ali Kazmi also commented on Yasir’s post to support Iqra for her decision.
