Mohit Suri took 3 Pakistani singers for the music of Ek Villain


Mohit Suri is a renowned Indian film director, well known for his films. Some of his popular films include Kalyug, Awarapan and Aashiqui 2. Mohit is all set for his new film “Ek Villain“.

 

The genre of the film is romance and thriller. He has roped in 3 Pakistani singers for his new upcoming film. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Mustafa Zahid from Roxen band, has sung a song titled as Zaroorat. The song has been composed and written by Mithoon. It will be out on 29th May 2014. Previously, Mustafa has also sung songs for films Awarapan, Blood Money and Aashiqui 2. However, Zaroorat is the third track fo the film after “Galliyan” and “Banjaara“.

 

Mohit has also roped in Lahore based Underground band Soch. He has asked the band to compose a famous track titled as Awari for Ek Villain. The track has been composed and written by Adnan Dhuul and Rabbi Ahmed. The track will also feature the vocals of US-based Pakistani singer, Momina Mustehsan who sung Pi Jaon with Farhan Saeed. Tanuj Garg, CEO – Balaji Motion Pictures said in a statement confirming, “Much like Mohit’s previous albums, Ek Villain is an outstanding ensemble of mood, instrument and sound. Its strength lies in its diversity and simplicity. The tracks are soaked in romance and carry immortal appeal and value”.

 

The movie is all set to release on June 27 2014.
