Ranbir Kapoor rejects to host next season of Bigg Boss

Bigg Boss is the popular TV reality show broadcasted in India. This reality show follows the format of original Dutch Big Brother by John De Mol. The 7th seasons was broadcasted last and the 8th one is in process. The previous 7 seasons have been hosted by Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, SanjayDutt and Salman Khan.

 

The previous season, was eventful because both the contestants and host were reported to create some fuss and disturbance in the show. However, It was also revealed that Salman Khan was being biased to some of the contestants of the show. Due to which he received a lot of negative reviews from his fans.

 

Due to critics reviews, Salman Khan himself announced that big Boss 7 will be his last season as a host. However, the makers of the show tried to bring Salman Khan back to the show and host the 8th season but He is not ready to do so. The makers of the show are trying to approach popular celebrities of Bollywood industry. Ranbir Kapoor has also been approached. But Ranbir has reportedly denied to be part of the Bigg Boss. The reason behind this is that Ranbir doesn’t want to get into tussle with Salman Khan.

 

Salman’s statement seems to come true. Salman Khan previously said on the Koffee With Karan 4 show Ranbir seems to so be snatching everything from him, Katrina Kaif , movies and now probably TV shows.

Deepika wants to be assistant director for Dil Dhadakne Do

The queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone seems to be in mood for some new experiment. Yes, she is ready to take a new role for Zoya Akhtar’s next film. She is very much impressed by the script of the film “Dil Dhadakne Do” and is ready to be the part of the project at any cost even in a non acting role probably an assistant director.

 

She expressed her willingness by saying, “I love the script so much that I am ready to work in any capacity on the film, including an assistant director (AD),” she says, with a smile. “But I don’t know if I can manage that (working as an AD).”

 

Zoya Akhtar is a well known Bollywood film director. Previously, she has also won the Film Fare Award for Best Director for her film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara“. When Deepika was asked if she has talked to Zoya about her willingness to do the project, she said: “Not really…I’ve met her, but not talked about it (getting associated with the film).”

 

The story of the film revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family, who later on goes on luxury cruise. The film will star Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles.

 

Nargis Fakhri to do a Hollywood movie opposite Jason Statham

Nargis Fakhri is a well known American fashion model and popular actress. In year 2004, she made her appearance on America’s Next Top Model. Next in year 2011, she did her film “Rockstar” opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She also appeared in a special song of Bollywood debut film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. In year 2013, she appeared as a war correspondent in Shoojit Sircar’s political thriller Madras Cafe.

 

The latest news update is that Nargis has been signed for a new upcoming Hollywood flick, directed by Paul Feig. It is 20th Century Fox’s upcoming spy comedy film. Nargis will be seen playing the role of a secret agent. According to the sources: “She (Nargis) will be seen as a sexy agent in a Fox production starring Jason Statham of ‘Transporter’ fame and Melissa McCarthy who was last seen ‘The Heat’” Moreover, she will also be seen on the screen in her new movie ‘Main Tera Hero‘ by David Dhawan, featuring Varun Dhawan and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles and set to release 4th April 2014.
