Call the band has been one of the few leading Rock bands in Pakistan. The band was originally formed in 1996 and Junaid Khan joined the band in 2002 as the lead vocalist.

Currently the band has Junaid Khan as lead vocalist, Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan lead guitarist and Sultan Raja as bass and rhythm guitarist.

Hit songs like Shayad, Humse He Ye Zamaana, Pukar, Jilawatan and many more made them everyone’s favorite.

From last few months rumor has it that all is not well between Junaid Khan and Xulfi (Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan). Both of them are going in different directions. Xulfi has recenlty produced a musical show for NESCAFÉ “Nescafe Basement”. On the other hand Junaid Khan has recently done a solo song “So Close So Distant” and we all are also seeing him in many TV dramas. No new song by the band and both of them working separately, is turning these rumors in to reality.

Another development in this situation of the band which makes it even more evident that the band is either broken up or is on the edge of break up is that instead of Junaid Khan, Lead vocalist of Roxen, Mustafa Zahid will perform with the band in their next two concerts scheduled on 13th and 18th October in Islamabad and Rissalpur.
