Pakistan’s legend Moin Akhter, who was born on 24th December 1950 and started his career in 1966, passed away this evening in his home town Karachi while he was on his way to hospital.

He died of heart attack and earlier he had undergone a heart surgery.

His demise has created a vacuum in Pakistani industry and its a very big loss, His character “Rosy” gave him great fame. He also received Pride of performance and Sitara-i-Imtiaz.

He left a widow, three daughters and two sons.

President and Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed condolences on this loss.

“He was Legend” Bushra Ansari.

“He was a complete Artist” Khalid Anum.

“It is a tragic news” Umer Sharif.

His funeral prayers to be held in Malir cant and his fans are gathering around his residence.

May his soul Rest In Peace…Ameen.

We have seen Junaid Khan lead vocalist of well known Pakistani rock band Call in a drama series “Kabhi Na Kabhi” on Hum TV which was directed by Jawad Bashir.

This time he is acting for drama series of Momal Production which is being directed by Aabis Raza and will go on air on Hum Tv, unfortunately the name of drama is not known yet but sources have disclosed that Junaid was in Karachi last week for the shoot.

In this drama Junaid is playing the lead role opposite Komal Rizvi, who is also a pop artist and has given some memorable songs to Pakistani music industry.

Apniisp will soon take you to the sets of this drama series.
