Pakistan Censor Board deleted dialogue about Shahid Afridi from Total Siyapaa

Ali Zafar‘s 5th Bollywood movie Total Siyapaa is released today in Cinemas. This entertaining film has ended up with a issue between the two popular celebrities i.e: Pakistan’s top cricketer Shahid Afridi and actor Ali Zafar. Pakistani public seems to be very angry at Ali Zafar. But Shahid Afridi proved himself by hitting two huge sixes in the final over of the match between India and Pakistan. Recently, Boom Boom Afridi also won the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh and made Pakistanis feel proud of him.

In the trailer of the movie Total Siyapaa, Ali Zafar was seen insulting Shahid Afridi by passing a comment over him “Shahid Afridi Se Toh Hum Bhi Pareshan Hain.” After the splendid success of Shahid Afridi, Ali Zafar clarified the matter in front of social media by stating: “I am a huge fan, especially after his splendid innings against India in the Asia Cup. He is a much loved sportsman.”

The actor laughed and added: “When a team performs well during an Indo-Pak cricket match, they immediately become heroes in the eyes of their fans. It’s just a take on the culture, of who we are as cricket loving nations.

“While we were shooting ‘Total Siyapaa’, Shahid Afridi was going through a bad patch; now he is at his finest. So now we are not troubled anymore.” At this, actress Yami Gautam immediately said: “No, now we Indians are troubled by him.” He also told the media that he has invited Shahid Afridi to his new film’s premieres in Pakistan.

It was really a shameless attack on the cricketer according to Afridi’s fans. Thus, as per instructions by the Pakistan Censor Board, the insulting dialogue has been cut from the movie.

The popular actor of Bollywood industry is all set to appear in Sooraj Barjatya’s next film as Prem. According to the sources, Sonam Kapoor will be doing the key role opposite Salman Khan.

“I was in negotiations with Sooraj-ji for the last four months. We’ve finally worked out all the modalities. And, yes I am doing the film. I’ll be getting into the film as soon as I finish shooting Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Dolly Ki Doli’,” Sonam Kapoor said.

The actress is very excited for her new project. The role of Sonam Kapoor will be of ideal and typical homely girl.

“I’ve grown up watching Sooraj-ji’s films. To be actually working in his film is a very exciting prospect for me. It’s double exciting as I’ll get to star with Salman Khan for the second time,” said the 28-year-old.

Previously the actress was seen playing the lead role in Saawariya with Salman Khan. She recalls the memories of that film with Salman by saying, “People seem to remember that I was paired with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Saawariya’. They forget my character was actually in love with Salman’s character. In fact, my character chose to go with Salman rather than Ranbir in the end. Salman and I had shot together for ‘Saawariya’ for 31 days”.

Ali Zafar’s upcoming Bollywood movie Total Siyapaa extended into novel

Total Siyapaa is an upcoming Bollywood movie directed by E. Nivas and produced by Neeraj Panday. The genre of the movie is romance and comedy. The movie stars Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam in the pivotal roles. According to the latest Bollywood updates, the movie has now been extended into a romantic novel. The release of the novel was announced by Publishing house Harlequin India on Monday. The novel has been written by Neha Sharma. Pandey, the film’s writer, says “the plot of the book is different from the movie plot and it allows the reader to experience the story differently and understand the dreams, dilemmas and emotions of the characters.”

The film’s actors Ali Zafar and Yaami Gautam are also very excited about the novel. According to them, the novel has given a more refreshing look to their characters, offering something new to the readers.

“As actors, we interpret the screenplay and emote characters to bring them alive on screen. This book has interpreted the pre-story of my character and made him into a flesh-and-blood thinking individual, who faces knock backs with flair and determination, and ultimately wins – not just the girl, but also all that he strives for in life.”, Ali Zafar said.

“Everything I had imagined Aasha to be – her story before the movie begins, her wacky personal history, her laugh-out-loud friction with Aman when they first meet, her grit to prove herself, has been written in this book,”Yaami added.

The movie has been shot in world-famous capital city London, where famous Bollywood films like Cocktail, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Desi Boyz  and Namaste London have been shot previously. Total Siyaapa is Ali Zafar’s 5th Bollywood film. Previously the actor did films including Tere Bin Ladin, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, London Paris New York and Chashme Badoor.
