Deepika wants to be assistant director for Dil Dhadakne Do

The queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone seems to be in mood for some new experiment. Yes, she is ready to take a new role for Zoya Akhtar’s next film. She is very much impressed by the script of the film “Dil Dhadakne Do” and is ready to be the part of the project at any cost even in a non acting role probably an assistant director.

 

She expressed her willingness by saying, “I love the script so much that I am ready to work in any capacity on the film, including an assistant director (AD),” she says, with a smile. “But I don’t know if I can manage that (working as an AD).”

 

Zoya Akhtar is a well known Bollywood film director. Previously, she has also won the Film Fare Award for Best Director for her film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara“. When Deepika was asked if she has talked to Zoya about her willingness to do the project, she said: “Not really…I’ve met her, but not talked about it (getting associated with the film).”

 

The story of the film revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family, who later on goes on luxury cruise. The film will star Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles.

 

Nargis Fakhri to do a Hollywood movie opposite Jason Statham

Nargis Fakhri is a well known American fashion model and popular actress. In year 2004, she made her appearance on America’s Next Top Model. Next in year 2011, she did her film “Rockstar” opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She also appeared in a special song of Bollywood debut film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. In year 2013, she appeared as a war correspondent in Shoojit Sircar’s political thriller Madras Cafe.

 

The latest news update is that Nargis has been signed for a new upcoming Hollywood flick, directed by Paul Feig. It is 20th Century Fox’s upcoming spy comedy film. Nargis will be seen playing the role of a secret agent. According to the sources: “She (Nargis) will be seen as a sexy agent in a Fox production starring Jason Statham of ‘Transporter’ fame and Melissa McCarthy who was last seen ‘The Heat’” Moreover, she will also be seen on the screen in her new movie ‘Main Tera Hero‘ by David Dhawan, featuring Varun Dhawan and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles and set to release 4th April 2014.
